Do you get sad when you finish a book?

answers1: =( Unfortunately, I do. Because the story has been told and
it's over, that's why I like fan fiction. You can see different views
of part of the story =) Like with Harry Potter, and you can always
make your own version of what you wanted to happen. But it will never
be the same as the real thing.

if its a really good book, i might feel sad that its over and let my
mind wander about the characters lives. <br>
or sometimes i'll feel content and satisfyed with the book.
answers3: Yes, especially with the HP books, but that was because the
Dark Lord and I both died! Darn that Harry Potter!

answers5: Sometimes. I try and look on the positive side, though, and
realize the book will always be there for me to read again. I'm
currently reading back through the Harry Potter series (because, I'll
confess, I was a little sad once I finished "Deathly Hallows"). It's
like an old friend, especially since it has literally been years since
I read the first three books.
answers6: Oh, all the time. I get very easily attached to characters
and books, so when I finish them, even it was a happy ending, I'm
almost always sad. I don't cry for every book, but there are some that
I have. The only times I'm not sad is if it was a book for school that
I didn't like.

Yes, only for very good books though. I always want them to last but they don't.

i get so into the book (or series), that when i finish- i dont cry-
but i do get a upset...=(
answers9: When Harry Potter ended I was sad; very sad ever since I
could read those books (I was 7) I have been reading them; then it
stopped I was actually really sad. But I have recently started reading
Fan Fiction which has made me feel like the books haven't ended yet
answers10: Yes I get so sad and I feel like I have nothing to do and I
don't know why but I feel so empty. That's how I felt when I finished
reading the Twilight series. But when I go on to another book I
completely forget being sad. And it's not hard for me to find a book I
like.
answers11: It depends if the book or series was well written. In a way
I get excited that there are those who can take us on a journey using
their on thoughts transcribe from mind to paper. I am one of them.
