I'm renting a room tomorrow, what (if any) legal things should I do?

Bell Pasco: Get everything in writing and signed by both you and the landlord.. Not just the terms of the tenancy, but the rules you must abide by as well. Also make sure you inspect the property you are renting thoroughly. Once you hand over the money, the negotiation time ends.
