Found a car on Craigslist, repair cost? Is it a good deal?
Hong Hunkin: It would be a good deal for a restorer with experience. It's a classic. Parts will be hard to find. The mileage stated isn't the actual miles, because you can look at the carpet under the accelerator pedal to realized it's been driven many more miles than stated.Look at the first picture and you will see that SOMETHING is leaking from under the car.I don't think this would be the one for you. Can't give repair costs without knowing what repairs are needed....Show more
Julienne Poplawski: you better watch buying off of that place, there are a lot of scams on there !
Peter Lapoint: No, that vehicle wasn't rear ended, it hit a tree or pole of some variety and took a hard ample hit to compromise the field sort frame. Add to that it is a 13 12 months historic automobile with nearly 150.000 miles on it. I might present $200 if I were looking for parts. I would not even attempt to repair it and put it on the road, the harm i can see would whole the automo! bile. Principally due to the fact he is not being truthful about what happened. Pass, move, go. Once constant it could be valued at round $1,500, and it could take more than that to repair it, why invest that much and lose money?...Show more
Dalia Causby: That's a Great deal. Its been taken very well care of. Just needs some work but nothing too bad. These kind of cars usually go to people restoring them. Gas and insurance would be expensive for this though. For a realistic basic repair price, around $2-4000. Paint job, some body work, reupholstered seats, new engine parts. Maybe a good brake system rebuild.Any questions feel free to message me at the source website listed under....Show more
Ileen Oshell: Repair what exactly? I don't think this is a car for someone like you.
