How important is CHESS as learning tool in Primary Schools?
Lawana Neemann: Even the Sims know that this is good tool for developing logic! :-) Hehe ...
Melissa Lavallie: Chess is a very important skill to learn at an early age. I started to play when i was 5 years old. Basically it teaches you skills on concentration, sharpens the mind because of the thousands and thousands of different moves that can be made. Most importantly it creates an analytical way of thought which is very important for younger people to learn for as you will use this in very important decision making throwout life.
Renay Billiar: Capital and minuscule letters are differentiated in the Roman, Greek, Cyrillic, Armenian and Coptic alphabets. Most writing systems (such as those used in Georgian, Glagolitic, Arabic, Hebrew, and Devanagari) make no distinction between capital and lowercase letters, a system called unicase. Indeed, even European languages did not make this distinction before about 1300; both majuscule and minuscule letters existed, b! ut a given text would use either one or the other. In alphabets with a case distinction, capitals are used for capitalization, acronyms, and emphasis (in some languages).Capitalization is the writing of a word with its first letter in uppercase and the remaining letters in lowercase. Capitalization rules vary by language and are often quite complex, but in most modern languages that have capitalization, the first word of every sentence is capitalized, as are all proper nouns. Some languages, such as German, capitalize the first letter of all nouns; this was previously common in English as well. (See the article on capitalization for a detailed list of norms)....Show more
Collin Barter: Helps to create power of mainstay, concentration, strategic thinking and creates a need to win
Mickey Isle: it should be that important but it is fun and a good skill to learn because you actually have to use your mind! But I'm not sure how to do the rest of your Q
