How to use Animation Overrides in Second Life?

Florencia Manolakis: The animations require a HUD (heads-up display) to actually override the default animations.I'm sure if you go back to Vista you will find a HUD for sale or possibly even for free. If not there, I'm sure there are others freebie HUDs about that will allow for you to load the animations into it.Every HUD is a going to be a bit different but you basically have to place the HUD onto the ground (not a floor!) and right-click and edit it. The last tab in the edit menu will be the contents tab. You'll need to read the instructions for whatever HUD you get to load the animations into it. Usually it is as simple as dragging the animations from your inventory into the contents tab of the HUD.When the animations are loaded into the HUD, it is as simple as taking the HUD back into your inventory and then selecting "Wear" or "Attach"- the HUD directions will specify this.Good luck....Show more
