What kind of references do they want on a cosmetology school application?

Delmer Pectol: Definitely put a variety of references down, starting with a teacher or boss that you've known as long as possible. Coaches, old teammates that are still friends, people you've babysat for, all those are good to go! It's good to have some more recent and current ones in there somewhere. Everyone has a different mix and match of people they know though!

Raleigh Lufkin: I went to cosmetology school and the references that I used were my pastor, former employers, and mostly professional references. Your references do not have to be in the field of cosmetology they just want references so they will be able to know if you stick to what you do and you will not drop out and end up owing the school money.
