Should I study abroad or just go to college in another country?

Raul Tllo: Well, one's a bigger commitment than the other, obviously. Perhaps study abroad to see how you like the experience - if you do, you'll know the culture of that place well, and would be attractive to colleges in the area.

Toshia Metzker: i would definitely 100% say that you should study abroad in another country not go straight to college in another country. it's an adjustment going to college as a freshman and i think you'd probably need to be in the US for at least your first year. you can find so many different places to study abroad for a semester or even a year- and can go to more than one place and even probably extend your study abroad for longer. also you might want to stay in the US so you can figure out what you actually want to do :)...Show more
