Poetry contest for teens?

Sol Bayn: What in regards to the young Writers program or YWP? That you can get your poetry published within the newspaper! However i consider it is just in VT. Why dont you google it? Hoped that helped :)

Piedad Bassiti: Part of the problem with many of these poetry contests is that there never is a real winner, but a come-on to purchase a book of all the poems submitted.A quick perusal of The Writer's Handbook shows most writing contest ask for a fee, so you are going to have to really hunt down one that (a) charges no fee and (b) is legit.
