Is it Windows or my Hardware (Sound Issue)?

Susan Rambo: It's probably a problem with the hardware, what company did you purchase your sound card from? If it's a big company like Creative or Asus, you could call them and ask them about it. There's not much details there so i'm assuming something's wrong with the hardware.

Giovanna Sherlin: Hmmm, try installing latest sound drivers. U probably have integrated, so look on whatever motherboard u have's site or the pc manufacturer site. If all else fails, go grab a sound card for under $15 at staples or bestbuy

Nell Dipiero: try redownloading your sound cards drivers. go to your computer manufacturers website and look up your computers drivers. download the driver for your sound card. in control panel go to system and hardware. then in your device manager's list find your sound card and reinstall the driver from the location you saved the new driver!
